I’ve been having an annoying issue with my Android phone lately where incoming calls go straight to voicemail without my phone ringing at all. It’s frustrating because I never know when someone is trying to reach me. I’d love to hear if anyone else has dealt with this and what solutions you’ve found!

Here are some troubleshooting steps I’ve tried:

Check Do Not Disturb Settings

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap on Sound & vibration or just Sound.
  3. Check if Do Not Disturb is activated. If so, turn it off for a while to see if that helps.

Inspect Call Forwarding

  1. Open your Phone app.
  2. Tap on the three dots in the corner and go to Settings.
  3. Look for Call forwarding settings and ensure that calls aren’t being forwarded to voicemail automatically.

Network Issues

  • Sometimes, it could be a carrier issue. It’s worth rebooting your phone and checking for any network outages in your area.

Check for Blocked Numbers

  • Ensure you haven’t accidentally blocked the numbers that are trying to call you. You can find this in the Phone app settings.

Update Your Phone

  • Make sure your phone software is up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs related to calls.
