Have you checked your Messages app settings? You might need to toggle RCS chat features in there.

Could this be some sneaky limitation from the carrier? I feel like they just want us to stick to basic SMS for some reason.
I wouldn’t be surprised! They love to keep those basic fees rolling in. RCS is free and they hate that.
It might also depend on your phone’s compatibility. Some older models simply don’t support RCS despite being on a compatible network.

I think RCS is great when it works! If you’re on Samsung, try clearing the cache of the Messages app. It helped me when I was stuck.
That’s a good tip! I also found that toggling airplane mode on and off worked wonders!
It’s frustrating when RCS doesn’t work. My friend had success by ensuring her mobile data was on; sometimes Wi-Fi can interfere.

Totally agree! Also, make sure your phone’s software is updated. I had to do that to get RCS working smoothly.
RCS is usually pretty reliable on my OnePlus, but I had issues last week. Restarting the phone did the trick for me!
