You can also check if Pandora has the ‘Display over other apps’ permission. Sometimes that helps maintain playback when the screen locks.

Yes! Go to Settings > Apps > Pandora > Advanced > Draw over other apps. Make sure it’s allowed.

Funny enough, my buddy’s iPhone doesn’t have this issue at all! Maybe it’s just an Android thing. My Samsung Note 20 often shuts down during screen lock too.

I can relate! My Motorola Moto G Power shuts off Pandora when the screen locks too. It’s frustrating when you just want to listen to music.

I have a LG Stylo 6, and Pandora also shuts off during screen lock. I’m on Android 10. Are we all experiencing this issue with older versions?
