Why does Discord keep disconnecting on my phone?

I’ve been having a frustrating issue with the Discord app on my Android phone. It just keeps disconnecting on me, which really messes up my conversations and gaming sessions. I’ve tried a few basic troubleshooting steps, but nothing seems to work.

Here are some things I’ve already tried:

  • Checking my internet connection: I’ve switched between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if that makes a difference. Sometimes it feels like it’s stronger on one than the other, but the disconnects still happen.
  • Restarting the app: I close it completely and reopen it, but the problem persists.
  • Updating the app: I made sure I’m using the latest version of Discord, so that shouldn’t be the issue.
  • Clearing the app cache: Went into settings to clear the cache; however, it didn’t help.
