Why Can't I Change My Wallpaper on Android?

I’ve been trying to change my wallpaper on my Android device for a while now, but no matter what I do, I can’t seem to make it happen. Here are some details:

Issue Description

  • Each time I try to set a new wallpaper, I either receive an error message, or it just doesn’t change at all.
  • I’ve tried using both stock wallpapers and my own images, but the result is the same.
  • As far as I know, there are no restrictions on my phone, and I’m not using any special launcher that should limit my options.

Steps I’ve Tried

  • Restarting the device to see if that helps.
  • Checking if I have the latest software update installed, which I do.
