Issues with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Screen Colors – Any Tips?

I love the vibrant screen, but sometimes I do wish it wasn’t so intense for reading texts. It’s great for videos, though!

Right? It’s a love-hate relationship! I enjoy the display for games too but find it tiring on the eyes for long articles.

I’ve had my S22 Ultra for a couple of weeks. While the colors pop, I’m wondering if it would hold up against a OnePlus 9 Pro display?

I switched from a OnePlus to the S22 Ultra, and the display is bright, but the OnePlus gave me richer colors overall!

Is it just me or does the S22 Ultra have a slight green tint in whites? I’ve seen this mentioned on other forums too.

You’re not alone! I noticed that too. Makes you question the quality control, huh?

I don’t know, maybe we’re just too picky? It’s still better than my old phone! Maybe color pops are worth a little tint, right? :joy:

I’ve been having issues with the color accuracy on my S22 Ultra. The greens seem to be overly saturated. Has anyone found a fix?

I noticed that too! Try adjusting the display settings. You can change the screen mode from Vivid to Natural for better accuracy.

I had a similar issue with brightness levels. I went into settings and adjusted the adaptive brightness. It made a big difference!

I wonder if the recent updates might have affected our screens. Anyone else experiencing unexpected tinting since then?

Yes! My screen has a bluish tint now. I was thinking of factory resetting to see if that helps.

Factory resetting? Yikes! I hope it doesn’t come to that, but if it does, back up your data first. That thought takes the ‘fun’ out of fixing colors!

Before resetting, try changing the color temperature under display settings. It might correct the tint without resetting everything.

I’ll give that a shot! The last thing I want is to lose all my stuff. Thanks for the tip!

Color settings can be tricky, but I recommend using the Galaxy Color Palette feature for personalized tuning!

Does anyone else find the screen too bright at night? It almost feels like I need sunglasses indoors!

Haha! I feel you! Lowering the brightness manually or using blue light filters can help a lot with that.

I swear, if I could just customize the screen like I do my coffee, life would be easier. :joy:
