I’ve been experiencing a really frustrating issue with the Google Play Store on my Android device. It keeps stopping unexpectedly, and I can’t seem to figure out why. I rely on the Play Store for downloading apps and updates, and this problem is really getting in the way of my usage.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Clearing Cache and Data: I went to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store, then cleared the cache and data. After restarting the app, it worked for a short time but then crashed again.
Uninstalling Updates: I thought maybe it was a recent update causing the trouble, so I uninstalled the Play Store updates. Still no luck!
Checking for System Updates: I checked if my device had any pending system updates and installed them, but the problem persists.
Rebooting the Device: A good old-fashioned restart seemed like a good idea, but it didn’t solve the issue.
Device Information:
Device Model: Samsung Galaxy S10
Android Version: 11.0
Storage Space: 32 GB available
Questions:
Has anyone else run into this problem?
What other steps can I take to troubleshoot this issue?
Could third-party apps be interfering with the Google Play Store?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!
I had a weird issue where my Play Store kept stopping after my phone was in battery saver mode. Check your device settings to see if that’s affecting it!
