Galaxy Buds Keep Disconnecting – Help Needed!

I’ve been experiencing issues with my Galaxy Buds constantly disconnecting from my Android phone, and it’s getting really frustrating. Here’s the situation: I’m listening to music or a podcast, and out of nowhere, the connection drops. I’ve tried a few things, but nothing seems to work. I’m hoping you all can help me troubleshoot this!

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Resetting the Buds: I followed the instructions to reset them via the Galaxy Wearable app, but they still disconnect.
  • Bluetooth Settings: I’ve cleared the cache for the Bluetooth app on my phone, but it hasn’t made any difference.
  • Distance: I made sure I’m not too far from my device, and there are no physical obstructions, yet the issue persists.
  • Battery Level: Both the buds and my phone are fully charged, so I doubt it’s a battery issue.

A bit about my setup:

  • Phone Model: [Your Android Phone Model]
  • Buds Version: Galaxy Buds [Model/Version]
  • Software Version: [Your Current Android Version]

Questions:

  1. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?
  2. Are there specific settings I might be missing on my phone or the Galaxy Buds?
  3. Could this be a compatibility issue with my particular phone model?

I’d really appreciate any advice or tips you could share. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

I’ve been having the same issue with my Galaxy Buds! They disconnect randomly, especially when I’m on calls. Anyone found a fix?

I feel your pain! It’s often due to Bluetooth interference from other devices. Make sure you limit the number of connected devices!

I’ve noticed that keeping my phone further away helps a bit. Sometimes walls can block the Bluetooth signal. Have you tried that?

Interesting point! I usually keep my phone in my pocket. Maybe that’s causing the problem. I’ll test it out!

Compatibility issues are also a major factor. If you use them with different brands or older devices, that might lead to problems.

Good call! I switched from an iPhone to a Samsung and noticed less disconnection. Brand cohesion matters.

Environmental factors play a crucial role too. If you’re in a crowded space, that might lead to signal drops. Try using them in quieter places!

That makes sense! I often use my Buds in cafes where there are tons of other signals. I’ll change my location!

I don’t have this issue, but I’ve heard resetting the buds sometimes helps. Have you tried that method?

Yes, I reset them often, but sometimes the problem persists. It’s frustrating!

Sudden disconnections at work? Must be a corporate conspiracy by the Bluetooth manufacturers! :joy: But seriously, try updating the firmware.

Haha, right? Firmware updates seem to be underrated! My friend noticed a big difference after updating.

Do other Bluetooth devices disconnect too, or just the Galaxy Buds? That could help isolate the issue.

Only the Buds! Tablets and speakers stay connected. It’s weird, right?

Remember that sometimes it might just be a faulty pair. If troubleshooting doesn’t help, consider reaching out to customer support.

True! I wish I had that option, but I got them used. :frowning:

I totally understand your frustration with the Galaxy Buds disconnecting. Have you tried resetting them? It’s usually the first step to resolve connectivity issues.

I’ve reset mine a couple of times, and it does help! Just hold down the touchpads on both earbuds at the same time until the LED flashes.

Definitely check for firmware updates! I had constant disconnection problems until I updated mine. You can do this through the Galaxy Wearable app.
