Best Controller for S23 Ultra - Any Recommendations?

Looking for the Best Controller for My S23 Ultra

I’ve recently got my hands on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and I must say, the gaming experience on it is fantastic! However, I’ve been thinking about enhancing that experience further with a dedicated game controller.

What I’m Looking For:

I want a controller that not only feels good in hand but also offers seamless compatibility with my device. Here are a few features I consider important:

  • Compatibility: Must work well with Android and specifically with the S23 Ultra.
  • Performance: I need something that provides low latency and quick response times.
  • Comfort: It should be comfortable to hold for extended gaming sessions.
  • Battery Life: A controller that doesn’t die on me during a gaming marathon is essential.

Current Options I’m Considering:

I’ve seen a few controllers recommended online, but I’m not sure which is really the best for mobile gaming. Here are a few that caught my eye:

  1. Razer Kishi - I’ve heard great things about this one, especially regarding its compatibility with various devices.
  2. Droidcon Pro - Is it worth the investment? I’ve seen mixed reviews.
  3. Xbox Cloud Gaming Controller - Seems like a solid choice, but does it really work as well on Android?

Your Thoughts?

I’m curious if anyone here has any experience with these controllers or if there are others you think might be better. Looking for some firsthand recommendations or reviews! What do you like or dislike about the ones you’ve tried? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the help, and looking forward to your replies!

You should definitely prioritize Bluetooth connectivity for seamless gaming. A lot of controllers offer customizable button mapping, which can elevate your gaming experience on the S23 Ultra!

The Razer Kishi is a great choice! It connects directly to your phone and has a fantastic grip. Plus, it has some native button mapping features.

I’ve heard it’s comfortable for long sessions. How does it perform with latency?

The latency is minimal! I’ve had great experiences with it, especially with FPS games. Definitely worth considering for the S23 Ultra.

What about the Xbox Cloud Gaming controller? It has Bluetooth and provides a really good mobile gaming experience, plus it’s super comfortable.

That’s a solid pick! Do you know if it supports any special button mapping features?

The battery life is impressive, lasts for hours! Just keep an eye out for updates to ensure full compatibility with games.

I’m a bit skeptical about mobile gaming. Can any controller really compete with console gaming?

While it’s not the same, modern mobile controllers like the ones we’ve discussed provide a surprisingly immersive experience! You might be impressed.

I laugh when I see those mobile controllers. Reminds me of trying to game with my phone on a road trip. Can’t take it seriously!

Haha! I totally get that! But sometimes necessity calls for a little gaming on the go.

Yeah! Sometimes I just want to game while waiting for my coffee. You really can’t beat the convenience.

I recently tried the Xbox Elite Series 2 with my S23 Ultra. The ergonomic design is fantastic, and it’s surprisingly light, even for long sessions. Highly recommend it!

I found the same with the Elite! It’s like they designed it for hours of gameplay. Anyone tried the PS5 controller?

The PS5 controller is solid, but I found it a bit heavier than expected. It fits well in hand, though, and the haptic feedback is immersive for gameplay!
