So true! I’ve accidentally turned mine off before. Really hard to navigate without directions!

If you’re using a Bluetooth device, disconnect it and see if that helps. Sometimes Bluetooth settings interfere with GPS audio.

I wonder if your GPS is in ‘silent mode.’ My Garmin has a feature that lets me turn off voice commands without realizing it.

My Navigon wouldn’t talk to me either, and it was just a corrupted file. Reinstalling solved my issue.
