Totally agree with ndavidson! I experimented with many apps and Open Camera gave me some of my sharpest shots yet!
I was just about to suggest that! Do you think it’s more about app quality or the phone’s camera hardware?

A bit of both, lgarcia! A good app can enhance hardware, but bad software can make even the best cameras perform poorly. Have you checked forums for model-specific issues?
