My friend said iPads show red volume when they’re too loud. Sometimes I wonder if it’s just a scare tactic for not blowing your speakers!

Haha, seriously! It’s like they’re saying ‘STOP!’ before we regret it!
If we think about it, sound systems vary so much. Perhaps red indicators could also warn against hearing damage?

Yeah, I read somewhere that constant exposure to loud sounds can be unhealthy. It’s a good reminder regardless of the device you use!
In the end, it seems we all have a bit of learning to do with how media volume indicators work!
