Why is my alarm only vibrating and not making any sound?

That’s a great point! I had to reconfigure my app settings after an update because they changed how sounds were managed. Always keep an eye on those app updates!

But what if the issue is actually your hearing? As this topic gets serious, testing with a different alarm sound might help! Just a thought.

That’s a bit harsh, but true! Sometimes we just need to check the most obvious solutions, even if they seem silly.

On a lighter note, maybe your alarm sound is just really shy? :joy: But seriously, make sure it’s not set to minimal volume; that’s a rookie mistake!

If your alarm is only vibrating, check the sound settings or the app permissions. Sometimes it’s just a simple glitch! Also, I prefer a mix of both vibration and sound. Helps me wake up when I need it the most.

I feel you! I’ve been there too. Vibration-only alarms can be tricky. They’re great if you’re a heavy sleeper, but sometimes I miss the sound completely!

Honestly, I love vibration alarms! They gently nudge me awake without the shock of a loud sound. But I sometimes wonder if I rely too much on them. What if they fail one day?

That’s a real concern! While I prefer sound, I do notice that having a backup vibration helps. Just in case! Anyone else use backup alarms?

I think a blend of sound and vibration is best! I’ve tried pure vibrations and woke up late to an appointment. It works for some, but I value that auditory alarm to really alert me.

Exactly! Sometimes I set two alarms — one with sound and the other just vibrating. It’s like a fail-safe! Plus, those vibrations can be soothing if I don’t need to wake up yet.

I go with all vibrations usually, but I guess it depends on personal preference. I read somewhere that some people can’t hear alarm sounds well while asleep!

I used to be a vibration-only person until I missed a flight! Now I blend sounds with vibrations. It’s a lifesaver for early mornings, but those vibrations are perfect for naps.

That’s interesting! Different methods seem to work for different people. I just wake up to the sound of a rooster noise; it makes me laugh and start the day right!

I know a few people who swear by vibration-only alarms! They love the gentle wake-up experience. I guess it’s more about how you personally react to sound vs. touch while waking up.

So true! I use sound for motivation, but I jokingly tell my friends that if I had to rely on vibrations alone, I’d probably be late to life!
