Introduction

I’ve been having this really annoying issue with my messaging app on my Android device. Every time I try to send a message, I keep getting the notification that says ‘message saved as draft’. It’s really frustrating because no matter how many times I try to send the message, I just can’t get rid of this pop-up.

What I’ve Tried

I’ve already attempted a few troubleshooting steps, and I’m wondering if anyone else has faced this and knows of a solution. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  • Restarted my device
  • Cleared the cache for the messaging app
  • Checked my internet connection to see if it’s stable
  • Made sure the app is updated to the latest version

Is It a Draft Issue?

Could it be possible that there are too many drafts saved? I’ve noticed that sometimes my drafts pile up, and I can’t really remember what I’ve saved. Does anyone know if there’s a limit to how many drafts you can have?

Connectivity Problems

I suspect that it could also be connectivity related. Can inconsistent internet or mobile data be causing messages not to send properly? And if so, what’s the best way to deal with this?
