Could it be related to recent OS updates? Some friends have had issues after updating their devices. It might be helpful to check for any new updates.
That makes sense! I often forget to update. But, it’s usually just app-specific settings that need tweaking.

I had a laugh when I realized I was just pressing the home button instead of the lock button. Silly mistakes matter too, right?

Haha, kevin44! We’ve all been there! But on a serious note, have you looked into silent mode settings? They can sometimes override notifications.

That’s a good point! Maybe take a look at the Do Not Disturb settings too? It can sometimes silence notifications entirely.
For me, uninstalling and reinstalling the app worked wonders for my Facebook notifications. Let me know if you try that!

I’m seriously considering switching to a different device if this doesn’t get fixed soon. The notifications on my current phone drive me nuts!
