Where did my camera app go on Android? Need help!

Introduction

I’ve been having this really frustrating issue with my Android phone lately. I went to take a quick photo, and poof — the camera app has just disappeared! No trace of it in my app drawer, and I can’t find it anywhere. Has this happened to anyone else?

Troubleshooting Attempts

I’ve tried a few things to get it back:

  • Restarted my phone: This seemed like a basic fix, but unfortunately, it didn’t work.
  • Checked for updates: I made sure my device is up-to-date, but still no luck.
  • Looked in Settings: I went to the app settings to see if it was disabled somehow, but it doesn’t show up there either.

What I Need

I’m really dependent on my camera for both personal and work-related tasks, so this is quite a hassle.

Have you checked if your camera app is hidden or disabled in your settings? Sometimes it’s just a matter of un-hiding it.
