I’ve been noticing a persistent white bar at the bottom of my Samsung Galaxy S10 screen, and I can’t seem to figure out what it is or how to get rid of it. Here are some details about the issue:
Background
I’ve had my S10 for about a year now and generally, I’m really happy with it. But lately, this white bar has been bothering me. It just suddenly appeared one day, and I can’t remember changing any settings that could have caused it.
What I’ve Tried
Checking for Software Updates: I made sure my phone is running the latest software.
Restarting the Phone: A classic move, but it didn’t help.
Adjusting Display Settings: I went through the display settings, but I couldn’t find anything that specifically addressed this white bar.
Questions
Is this a known issue? I’ve seen a few mentions of it online but not much official information.
Is it related to UI Navigation? I’m wondering if it’s anything related to the navigation buttons or gestures?
How can I remove it? Any tips or tricks that anyone has found effective?
I’d really appreciate any insights or suggestions because this white bar is starting to get quite distracting. Thanks in advance!
I noticed the white bar too! It might be related to your screen settings. Try adjusting the screen resolution under Display settings. Sometimes that helps!
You might also want to check if there are any software updates available. Go to Settings > Software update and see if there’s anything you need to install!
I know right? You’d think they would test these updates better. Anyway, rooting the phone could be a solution but I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re experienced!
