If anyone here is having trouble, just know you’re not alone! MTP Host can be a nightmare, but hang in there. Have you thought about clearing the app cache?
I’ve been having issues with the MTP Host App too! Have you tried using AirDroid? It’s super user-friendly and lets you transfer files over Wi-Fi.
AirDroid is great! But if you’re looking for something that’s even simpler, I recommend using Send Anywhere. Just a few taps and you’re good to go!
What about the traditional USB transfer method? It’s not as fancy, but it works without needing any extra app. Just plug and play!

I agree with justin! Google Drive is great, but it can eat up your data plan if you’re not careful. Does anyone else have offline options that beat MTP?

You could try using FTP apps like WiFi FTP Server. They let you transfer files locally without the need for data, and they’re pretty lightweight too!
I find using an FTP server quite geeky! 
But it does work! What about exploring some Bluetooth transfer apps? It might be slower but still an option.
I never thought I’d say this, but Bluetooth can really feel outdated… Unless you enjoy waiting ages for your files! Is there a fast way without the fuss?
