I recently noticed a dot appearing right in the center of my Android screen, and I can’t figure out what it is or how to get rid of it. It doesn’t seem to be a part of an app, and I didn’t knowingly enable any feature that would put it there.
Possible Causes?
Floating Action Button: I’ve heard of these buttons that can pop up on the screen. Could it be one of those that’s just stuck?
Stuck Notification: Is it possible that some notification is lodged there, and I’m overlooking it? I usually swipe them away, but this one doesn’t seem to go!
Accessibility Feature: Maybe it’s something related to accessibility settings? I’ve toyed around with those options a bit, and I’m wondering if I accidentally switched something on.
Bug in the System: Perhaps it’s just a bug in my Android version. If you’ve had similar issues, please let me know!
What I’ve Tried
Restarted my phone
Checked running applications
Looked through the accessibility menu
But nothing seems to change. It’s a bit distracting when I’m trying to watch something or play my games. Has anyone else experienced this?
Any troubleshooting advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated! Looking forward to your insights!
