Seeking Advice on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Cases

Hey all,

I recently got my hands on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (super excited, by the way!) and I’m already feeling a bit paranoid about keeping it safe. I want to make sure I get a good case that balances protection, style, and price.

What I’m Looking For:

  1. Protection: I want something that can handle drops and protects the screen and camera without adding too much bulk.
  2. Aesthetics: Something that looks nice and doesn’t defeat the sleek design of the phone.
  3. User Reviews: I’d love to hear what you guys have used and what you think about them. Are there any standout cases you’d recommend?
  4. Price Point: I’m not looking to break the bank but don’t mind investing a bit for quality.

A Few Cases I’ve Heard About:

  • OtterBox Defender: Seems to be very protective but also looks very bulky.
  • Spigen Tough Armor: I’ve seen some good reviews on this one. Seems like a solid mid-range option.
  • Samsung’s Official Silicone Case: Looks nice and comes in cool colors, but is it really protective?

I recently got an OtterBox Defender for my S23 Ultra, and it’s been a lifesaver. The drop protection is incredible, plus it has a built-in screen protector that prevents scratches. Highly recommend it!

I’ve heard great things about the OtterBox! I’m using a Spigen Tough Armor case, which is also pretty durable. It’s slim but offers good drop protection too.

What do you all think about clear cases? I’ve been using one, but I’m worried about its protection against drops. The aesthetic is great, but not sure if it’s worth it for durability.

Clear cases can be quite pretty, but they don’t offer the same protection as something bulkier like the OtterBox. Just be careful with it falling; my friend cracked hers with a clear case from just a small drop!

I’ve tried several cases, and I always come back to the UAG cases. They are urban armor gear, and they’ve held up great in rugged conditions. Anyone else have experiences with UAG?

UAG cases are fantastic! They strike a nice balance between protection and design. Plus, they’re lightweight, which is a big plus for me.

I’m currently using an Incipio case. It’s super slim and has a good feel, but I worry about real drop protection. Has anyone had any issues?

Incipio cases are stylish, but I’d be cautious with drops. They protect against scratches but may not handle a bad fall as well as bulkier cases.
