Excellent point! I had a similar problem recently that turned out to be an outage in my area. Always check with your carrier!

I’m having the same issue! It’s so frustrating when texts won’t download. Have you checked your data connection? Sometimes a weak signal can cause this.

I’ve tried that, but I still can’t download the messages. I’ve also restarted my phone, and it didn’t help…
I had a similar issue last month. I found that uninstalling and reinstalling the messaging app fixed it! Just make sure to back up your messages first.

Nope, I backed up everything. It’s a bit tedious, but worth it if it solves the issue. You can also try clearing the app cache!
Clearing the cache is a great tip! I’ve also read that sometimes network settings need to be reset. Has anyone tried that?
I did that, but it didn’t help me. It seems like every time I fix one issue, another pops up!
You’re not alone, Jacob! Sometimes it feels like these gadgets are out to get us! Have you contacted your provider? They might have insight.
Yes, provider support can be hit or miss. Once, they told me to reset my whole phone! I ended up losing everything. It should be a last resort.
Ouch, that’s painful to hear! I hope it doesn’t come to that for you, Robert. Maybe try using a different messaging app in the meantime?
