Suddenly my Google search results look weird, what’s happening?

I’ve been using Google on my Android phone, and lately, I’ve noticed some pretty strange changes in my search results. It feels like the content being displayed is all over the place! Here’s what I’ve been experiencing:

The Oddities

  • Irrelevant Results: Sometimes, I search for something specific, but the results are glaringly unrelated.
  • Weird Suggestions: The suggested searches have taken a turn toward the bizarre. I go from looking for recipes to being recommended random websites.
  • Ads Everywhere: I’ve encountered what seems like way too many ads cluttering the results page.
  • Missing Features: Features I used often, like voice search and the ability to filter results, seem to be missing or altered.

What I’ve Tried

I’ve done a few things to try and remedy the situation, like:

  • Clearing Cache and Data: I cleared the cache and data of my Google app, but that didn’t help much.
  • Checking My Settings: I went through my search settings, but it all looks the same as before.
  • Resetting Preferences: I even attempted resetting my phone settings to see if that would help, but still no change.
