I’ve been having some issues with Rich Communication Services (RCS) when trying to message one specific person. It seems like my messages are just going through as regular SMS instead of using RCS features like read receipts and typing indicators. Here are the things I’ve tried so far:
Checked RCS Settings: I’ve made sure that RCS is enabled in my messaging app settings. Both my phone and the contact’s phone are supposed to support RCS.
Restarted My Phone: Sometimes a simple restart can fix connectivity issues, right?
Cleared Messaging App Cache: I cleared the cache of my messaging app to see if that would help.
Verified Carrier Support: I checked with my carrier, and they confirmed that RCS is supported on both our accounts.
Updated Messaging App: My messaging app is up to date, so I don’t think it’s a version issue.
