I’ve been having a frustrating issue with my Pixel 6 where I’m not receiving any text messages. I’ve tried a few basic troubleshooting methods, but nothing seems to work. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  1. Restarted the Phone: A classic first step, sometimes a simple reboot can resolve some glitches.
  2. Checked Network Signal: I’ve made sure I have a good signal, and I’m not in airplane mode or out of service.
  3. Updated Software: I checked for any software updates and made sure my phone is running the latest version.
  4. Cleared Messaging App Cache: I went into the settings and cleared the cache of my messaging app to see if that would help.
  5. Verified App Permissions: All necessary permissions for the messaging app seem to be enabled.
