I’m having a frustrating issue with my Android device where I just can’t hear any notification sounds. It’s becoming really inconvenient, especially since I rely on notifications for messages and important alerts. Here are some details and steps I’ve already tried:

Steps Tried:

  • Volume Settings: First, I checked the volume settings. Everything seems to be turned up, including media, ringtones, and notifications.
  • Do Not Disturb: I ensured that Do Not Disturb mode was not turned on. Sometimes it gets activated accidentally.
  • App Settings: I looked at the specific app settings (like WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.) and confirmed that notifications are enabled.
  • Reboot: A classic solution! I restarted my phone, hoping it might fix the issue.
  • Safe Mode: I booted my phone into Safe Mode to see if any third-party app might be causing the problem, but the sounds still didn’t work.
  • Clear Cache: For some apps, I cleared the cache, and even for the system UI, but no luck.
