Need Recommendations for Samsung Quick Charge Cords!

Totally agree! I had a knock-off that gave me so many problems. Samsung cords have been solid for me.

I’ve had a Samsung cord for a couple of years and it’s still holding up, but one of my friends had theirs fail completely after a year. Just a random defect, I think.

It sounds like luck of the draw with these cords. I hope mine doesn’t fail that early!

I’ve experienced some defects too! My charger stopped working one day, but Samsung’s customer service replaced it without hassle. Can’t complain about that!

Glad to hear they replaced it for you! I wonder how many people have to go through that before they realize it’s faulty?

I’ve had my cables for almost a year, and no issues! I’m curious if those with problems were charging with certain adapters…could that be the case?

That’s a good point! I mostly use Samsung adapters, but I did try a knock-off once and had issues. I’ll stick with original equipment.

I find it funny how sometimes we spend more on chargers thinking they’ll be better, and they just end up failing like the cheaper ones!

So true! It’s like buying a designer shirt only for it to rip in the wash! :joy:

Samsung quick charge cords are great for fast charging Galaxy models. They work efficiently with the Note series too, providing optimal power delivery.

I’ve had a different experience with my S9! Sometimes, it feels like the cord doesn’t deliver the full speed. Could it be a cable issue?

I’ve used Samsung’s quick charge cords with my S10 and it works flawlessly. Just ensure you are using a compatible adapter to maximize charging speed!

That’s a good point! What about using these cords with non-Samsung devices? Anyone tried it with other Android brands?

I used my Samsung quick charge cord with a OnePlus and it actually worked! However, it didn’t charge as fast as it does with my Galaxy. Still, it was better than regular charging.

I find that using genuine Samsung cords definitely impacts performance compared to generic ones. I’ve had some challenging experiences when I tried knockoffs with my Note 10.

Yes! I agree with jmoreno. The original cords seem to have a voltage control that really makes a difference. How important is this for everyone else’s daily use?

Using original cords is a must for me! But it frustrates me when they wear out quickly. Anyone faced this issue? It might just be me…

You’re not alone! These cords seem to have a shelf life. I’m cautious about winding them too tightly!

Quick charge cords also play a role in battery health. Using the right cables can improve longevity. I’ve heard some people suggest waiting for the battery to drain before charging. Thoughts?

I think as long as you’re using quality cords, your battery should be fine. Just don’t let it drop to 0% often! It’s about moderation, right?
