Can anyone explain why activation problems are so common with these devices? It feels like a software bug, and we should be getting help from RCA.

Hey everyone! I’m trying to activate my RCA Voyager 111 and I’m puzzled about the activation code. Can anyone explain the prerequisites?
To activate your RCA Voyager 111, you’ll need a compatible email account and the latest software version. Make sure your device is fully charged too!
I had some issues initially as well! You also need to make sure that your tablet’s firmware is updated to at least version 5.0. Otherwise, the activation won’t go through.

Gmail works just fine! I’ve successfully used my Gmail account for my RCA activation without any issues. So, you’re good to go with that!
It seems some users have trouble with the tablet’s compatibility. Is it possible to activate it if it’s running an outdated OS? I’d love to hear any tips on this.
Unfortunately, you really must update it first. I learned the hard way; it took me forever to figure it out!
When trying to activate, be patient! The process takes time. I thought I broke mine at first because it seemed stuck on the activation screen for ages.
I think the instructions can be a bit vague. If you encounter issues, restarting the device often helps clear problems. Anyone else have advice?
