How to Turn Off RTT Calls on Your Android Phone?

Same here, hancockcarla! I couldn’t find that option either. It seems like web apps have a different layout for these settings. Any tips?

If you use a specific app, check the help section. They often provide detailed steps in FAQs!

I had no idea RTT existed until today! Now I feel like I’ve been living under a rock. Thanks everyone for sharing!

It’s funny how hidden these features can be. You think you know your phone, and then it pulls a surprise like RTT! :joy:

Honestly, disabling RTT feels like a small victory! I love these step-by-step guides for making tech easier to use.

For sure! It’s the little things that make a big difference. Cheers to figuring this out together!

Has anyone else found RTT calls really intrusive? I didn’t even know I had them on until a friend mentioned it. Turning them off was a bit tricky!

Right? It’s like finding out you’ve been wearing mismatched socks all day! To turn them off, go to Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Enhancements and toggle it off.

I had to do a little digging! Sometimes the settings can be hidden in unexpected places. If you don’t see it where mentioned, check under ‘Phone’ in Settings too.

Great tip! I was struggling with that, and I appreciate the clear guidance.

I actually had an issue where I couldn’t turn RTT off, even after following the steps. I had to restart my phone before the changes took effect. Anyone else experience this?

That’s interesting! I wonder if it’s a common glitch. I had to do that with other settings too.

If anyone is still struggling, sometimes clearing the app cache can help too. Go to Settings > Apps > [Your Phone App] > Storage and clear cache.

I tried that, but still found RTT calls keep popping back on. It’s so frustrating! Guess I need to keep looking for a permanent fix.

That sounds annoying! Maybe check if there’s a software update available? Sometimes bugs are fixed in newer versions.

Haha, I thought RTT meant ‘Ready To Talk’? Guess I was wrong. They really should come up with better names for these features!

Funny! You’re not alone in that confusion! It definitely needs a clearer title; it sounds more like a motivational quote than a phone feature.

I ultimately just disabled the feature and forgot about it, but I hope there’s more clarity in future updates to the menus. User-friendliness is key!
