I’ve seen that too! It might relate to the original upload quality settings in Google Photos.
For those struggling with syncing, have patience! Sometimes it takes a little time for everything to sync properly. Just keep refreshing.
And don’t forget to take advantage of Google Photos’ editing tools before syncing. They can really enhance your images for viewing later in Samsung Gallery!
That’s a fantastic point! I often edit my photos to brighten them up before sharing and syncing.
I wish Samsung Gallery had better integration options for setting default views for cloud images versus local images. It’s a bit clunky currently.

I get your frustration, Fwoods! Sometimes it feels like they try to make it too intuitive but end up complicating things. A bit of streamlining would be awesome.
