Seeking Help to Display the Current Date

Hey there! I’m looking for some assistance on how to show the current date on my Android home screen. I’ve seen some friends with their home screens nicely customized to showcase the date along with the time, and I feel like mine is missing that personal touch.

Here are a few things I’ve already tried:

  • Checking the Settings: I dived into my device settings, searching for any options related to the home screen or widgets, but I wasn’t able to find anything useful.
  • Exploring Widgets: I attempted to long-press on the home screen to add widgets, but I couldn’t find any that specifically showed the date.

I’m really interested in any of the following:

  • Settings adjustments: Is there a hidden setting I might have overlooked?
  • Widget options: Are there any built-in or third-party widgets that can display the date?

To show the date on your Android home screen, go to your settings, tap on ‘Display’, then ‘Home Screen’. Most launchers have an option to enable date visibility there.

In addition to what rallen said, on Samsung devices, you can easily add the date widget from the widget menu. It’s super user-friendly!
