Have you tried putting these apps in ‘Doze Mode’? It can help prevent background processes.

I’ve tried that, but it didn’t seem to work for apps like Instagram. Maybe I need to disable background data altogether.
That’s a solid idea. Try Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Mobile Data > Disable Background Data.

What about apps that refuse to be put to sleep? I’m having that issue with my music app.
You might need to check if there’s an option in the app settings to prevent it from running in the background.

Improving battery life can feel like a full-time job! Sometimes I wonder if it’s even worth it. 
Right? At times, I find myself charging my phone more than using it. It’s a bit of a joke!
I often reflect on how these settings seem to evolve with each update yet still confuse users.

That would be useful! Some automation apps can help with that. Tasker is a popular choice for automating actions on Android.
