That’s great advice! I have Metro, and I think I can just text ‘STOP’ to a specific number. I’ll check and update here!

For Sprint users, dial *29 to disable voicemail. It’s a straightforward process, but you might still want to confirm with customer service.

Wow, I didn’t know that! I’m with Cricket, and I might have to just call to figure it out. Anyone have tips on that?

Cricket does not allow disabling voicemail through a code. You’ll need to contact support. Just a heads up!

I appreciate that info! It seems like a hassle, but I’m really not using the service anyway.

I called my carrier to disable it, and they asked if I was aware I might miss important messages! So, it seems they are really pushing it.

That’s such a classic sales tactic! Just like when they try to sell you on those extended warranties.

Disabling voicemail can help reduce unnecessary notifications, but it might mean missing important calls. I’m curious how others manage this balance?

I totally get that! I just let people know via text that they can reach me that way instead. Less chaos!

I think keeping voicemail can be beneficial. Sometimes a call isn’t important, but it’s nice to have the option for those moments when it is.

Exactly my point! Voicemail can be a safety net when you can’t answer an important call.

I disabled my voicemail and love how much peace it brings. I just check my missed calls and follow up when needed. Anyone else done this?

I have! It’s refreshing not to have those annoying voicemail notifications constantly popping up.
