A hidden gem: you can actually archive group chats, so they’re out of sight but you don’t lose any messages. Has anyone tried that?

Archiving is great! But sometimes I miss important messages that way. Any way to prevent that?

One way to avoid missing important messages is to set up notifications for only the group chats that matter most to you.
That sounds practical. How do you do that on Android?
In your messaging app, tap the chat, then ‘Info’ or ‘Settings’, and you should find options to customize notifications. It’s straightforward!

Sounds easy! I wish all messaging apps had this feature, though. Some just bombard you with endless notifications.
Totally agree! It’s frustrating when you have to deal with unnecessary pings. Maybe a new app could solve that?

I usually just put my phone on silent and hide it! Works every time and adds a bit of mystery. 
That could definitely work! But I might end up losing my phone entirely!
