Restarting your device can also help sometimes. I know it sounds simple, but it worked for me once when the Play Store was acting up.

Has anyone else experienced this with specific apps, or does it seem to be just the Play Store crashing? Just curious if it’s widespread.
It seems to be mostly the Play Store, but I had issues with a couple of other apps crashing too.
Don’t forget to keep your device updated! Sometimes an outdated OS can lead to app crashes, including Play Store.

Check your internet connection as well, sometimes a slow or unstable connection can cause the Play Store to crash unexpectedly.
Good point! I was on Wi-Fi but it kept dropping, which I only realized after some troubleshooting.

I completely understand your frustration! The Play Store crashed on me last week too. I found clearing the cache and data for the Play Store app helped a lot.

After clearing the cache, I also uninstalled updates to the Play Store itself. That did the trick for me. Just go to Settings > Apps > Play Store and you’ll see the option.

I was having crashing issues for months, but finally, I turned off my VPN and that resolved it. Worth checking if you’re using one!
Oh, that’s interesting! I do use a VPN for streaming. I’ll give that a shot too!
