I’ve been using the Moto G Play 2023 with Android 13 for a few weeks, and the battery life is impressive! I easily get through a full day with moderate use. The optimization is noticeable compared to my old phone.

Charging times are decent, but not the fastest out there. I usually plug it in for about an hour and it gets to around 80%. It works well for me since I mostly charge overnight.

During heavy usage, like gaming or video streaming, it does drain faster, but I still manage to get about 6 hours. I think the overall management by Android 13 helps maximize the battery life!

I just hope they don’t implement some battery ‘optimization’ that drastically changes usability. Remember when manufacturers promised great battery life but limited functionality? Talk about a bait and switch!
