I switched from Chrome to Firefox on my phone, and it opened links fine! Definitely worth a shot.

I’m on the latest version on my Samsung and still have issues. Has anyone contacted support about this?

I did, but their replies are very standard. It’s as if they don’t understand the issue!

Why does tech have to be so complicated? Just the other day, I thought a link was broken, then realized it was my phone acting up!

Lol, right? It’s always something! Let’s hope they fix these issues soon. I’m rooting for all of us!

I had the same issue! I realized my Wi-Fi connection was spotty, which caused the links to not open in Messenger. Check your Wi-Fi and mobile data; it might be an unstable connection.

That sounds frustrating! Have you tried switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data? Sometimes one works better than the other.

Also, make sure your Messenger app is updated to the latest version. Older versions can have bugs that might affect link opening.

Good point! I never think to check for updates. That could be a simple fix.

You can also check your network settings to ensure they’re set to allow data usage for Messenger. Sometimes restrictions can prevent links from loading.

That may be my issue! Just realized my settings might be too restrictive. Thanks for the tip!

Sometimes, simply restarting your device can resolve connectivity issues. It’s an easy fix that people often overlook.

I’ve tried restarting, but it feels like a temporary fix. Is there anything more permanent I can do to boost my connection?

One thing you can try is to limit the number of devices connected to your Wi-Fi. Too many devices can slow down the speed.

Connection issues can be a real pain! Have you considered resetting your router? That might give you a clean start.

I actually did that last week! But weirdly, it didn’t help much. Maybe I need to call my ISP.

Wi-Fi issues can sometimes be comical. I once thought it was my Messenger, but it turned out to be the neighbor’s microwave interfering with the signal.
