Thicker cases can be tricky. I had to switch to a slimmer case since my charger struggled with my old one.
Look for chargers that specifically mention compatibility with phone cases. The Belkin wireless charger works well for me with a somewhat thick case!

I’d steer clear of older models of wireless chargers. They generally don’t handle heat as well.
If the charger is too bulky, it can be a turnoff. I prefer something that looks great on my nightstand without taking up too much space.
