Auto Rotate on Android Not Working? Need Help!

Good idea! I’ll try that next. It’s odd how such a simple fix is often overlooked.

Another step is to recalibrate your sensors. You can use calibration apps available on the Play Store. They might just do the trick!

Thanks for the suggestion! Do you have a specific app in mind that works well?

I’ve had success with ‘Sensor Box for Android.’ It’s user-friendly and pretty effective for recalibrating sensors!

I’ll give that a try! It sounds simple enough.

It could also be a problem with the gyroscope in your phone. Some users have found that moving their device in circles helps to recalibrate it manually!

Interesting! I didn’t know that. I’ll give it a whirl and see if it helps.

Also, check for any pending software updates, as these can sometimes fix bugs related to features like auto-rotate.

Got it. I’ll look into updates as well! This is turning into a thorough troubleshooting session.

You guys make it sound like a science project! But honestly, some of these tips could save time. Let’s hope it gets fixed soon!

If it still doesn’t work, consider resetting the app preferences as a last resort. Go to Settings > Apps and choose ‘Reset app preferences.’

That sounds drastic, but if nothing else works, I might have to try it!

I’ve had issues with auto-rotate too! Sometimes it just stops without any reason. I found that turning off and on ‘Auto-rotate’ in the quick settings helped. Have you tried that?

You are not alone! After an update, my phone struggled with auto-rotate. I factory reset it, and that did the trick.

Interesting point! Sometimes updates can break more than they fix. Have you checked if your sensors are working? You can do this through diagnostic settings.

That’s true! I had to uninstall an app that messed with my sensor permissions before it started working again.

I’ve seen similar issues with specific apps. Sometimes an app can interfere with the auto-rotate feature. Have you recently installed anything new?

I had the same problem! My auto-rotate worked only in some apps. I found out that turning off ‘Battery Saver’ improved it significantly. Give it a shot!

That’s great advice! I didn’t realize battery settings could interfere with that. I’ll try it out!
