AT&T Voicemail Not Working - Need Help Troubleshooting

I’m having some serious trouble with my AT&T voicemail on my Android phone. It just won’t work! I can’t seem to get any of my voicemails, and it’s becoming really frustrating.

Troubleshooting Steps I’ve Tried

  1. Restarting my phone - This is usually my go-to solution for most tech issues, but it didn’t help this time.
  2. Checking my network settings - I made sure I had a good signal and that airplane mode wasn’t accidentally turned on.
  3. Updating the voicemail app - I checked for any pending updates for the app, but it’s already up to date. I thought that might resolve the issue, but no luck.
  4. Clearing the app cache - I cleared the cache for the voicemail app, hoping it would fix any glitches, but it still isn’t working.
  5. Making sure my voicemail box isn’t full - I thought maybe I had too many saved messages, but I deleted a few just to be safe.

Seeking Further Assistance

At this point, I’m not sure what else to try. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions on what I can do next? Should I reach out to AT&T support directly, or are there other steps I might be missing?

I really need to get this sorted out, as I rely on my voicemail quite a bit. Thanks in advance for any tips or advice you can share!

I’ve been having issues with my AT&T voicemail too. Sometimes it seems like network problems cause it to fail. Has anyone else experienced this?

For sure! Also, make sure your voicemail settings are correct. Sometimes those can be messed up after updates.

I’ve struggled a bit too, especially after the last software update. Seems like it introduced some bugs! Anyone else feel the same?

Yes! Software glitches can definitely ruin the voicemail experience. I recommend checking for system updates regularly.

Great idea! And don’t forget to check if your voicemail box is full. That’s something many overlook.

Ugh, my voicemail was full! I was like, ‘Why aren’t they coming through?’ :joy: Now I keep it cleaned out.

Haha, great reminder, james80! Keeping it tidy must be key. But can we also talk about how annoying it is when voicemails randomly disappear?

Oh man, that happened to me too! It makes you wonder if it’s a conspiracy. But really, if the app isn’t updated, that could be the reason.

I’ve definitely had that happen! You know what? Sometimes I think AT&T is just messing with us! :joy: But let’s be serious — if it’s a common issue, they should fix it.

I totally understand the frustration with AT&T voicemail issues! First things first, try resetting your voicemail settings. You can do this by dialing *73738# (you might need your password).

Great tip! Also, make sure your network connection is strong. Sometimes, a weak signal can cause voicemail problems too.

I’ve had issues with voicemail too, and checking my network connection made a huge difference. If you can’t access voicemail, turn on airplane mode for about 30 seconds and then turn it off again.

Good advice! If all else fails, don’t hesitate to contact customer support. They can help troubleshoot issues directly.

Don’t forget to check for any updates on the AT&T app. Sometimes, an outdated app can cause issues with voicemail functionality.

True! Also, you can try clearing the app cache in your phone settings, which can help fix glitches.

If you’re still having a tough time, it might be worth resetting your network settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Just remember that this will erase saved Wi-Fi passwords.

But then again, could it also be a network outage? Check AT&T’s website for service interruptions in your area.
