Anyone else with Samsung missing supplementary services?

Discussing the Missing Supplementary Services on Samsung

I’ve been having a frustrating time lately with my Samsung phone, particularly when trying to access the supplementary services like call forwarding, caller ID management, and call barring. It seems like these options have just vanished! Has anyone else experienced this?

Symptoms of the Issue

  • Missing Options: My settings menu shows nothing related to supplementary services. Where did they go?
  • Frustration with Features: I rely heavily on these features, especially for managing my calls efficiently.

Troubleshooting Steps I’ve Tried

  1. Restarting the Phone: Sometimes a simple reboot helps, but not this time.
  2. Resetting Network Settings: I went ahead and reset my network settings, but that didn’t bring back the missing features.
  3. Checking Carrier Support: I also contacted my carrier to see if there were any changes on their end affecting these services.

Seeking Solutions

I’m really hoping to find some guidance or solutions here. Do you guys have any tips or tricks? If anyone has faced this issue and managed to resolve it, your advice would be appreciated! Maybe there are some hidden settings or specific apps that can restore these functionalities?

Let’s share our experiences and hopefully figure out a way to get those supplementary services back on our Samsung devices!

I’ve been having issues with supplementary services on my Galaxy S20. Anyone else facing this problem?

Yeah, I had the same problem on my S21. It’s so frustrating not to have those features!

I don’t have problems with supplementary services on my Note 10. Maybe it’s specific to certain models?

That seems to be the case! My S20 Ultra is also missing some options.

I think it might be a software issue. My Galaxy A51 has given me trouble recently too.

Why are new features being removed? It feels like we’re losing functionality with each update. Anyone else annoyed by this?

I feel you! This is especially annoying for people relying on supplementary services.

I wonder if different carriers affect the availability of these features. Mine is through Verizon, and I face issues.

That’s a good point! I’m with T-Mobile, and everything seems fine for me.

Maybe Samsung is just trying to push us towards their newer models? That sounds like a sneaky marketing tactic.

My friend has the Galaxy Z Flip, and she hasn’t experienced any supplementary service issues. Lucky her, right?

Seems like the Z series is doing well with these features while others are not.

I’ve started to feel like a tech detective trying to figure this out. Anyone else up for a conspiracy theory on Samsung?

I’ve noticed the same issue since the last update! My supplementary services just vanished. It’s frustrating!

Exactly! I thought it was just me. Anyone else trying to figure out if it’s the update causing this?

Same here! It seems the latest firmware messed things up. Have you all tried resetting your network settings?

I haven’t tried that yet. Does that really help with missing services?

Resetting network settings worked for me after that update! It’s worth a shot if you want to regain access.

Thanks for the tip! Did you notice any other changes after you did that?
