Seeking Advice or Help with aainflight on Android

I’ve been trying to connect to the aainflight service on my Android device, but it just doesn’t seem to work. I’m using a [specific model] and it’s been pretty frustrating.

What I’ve Tried:

  • Checking WiFi Settings: Made sure I’m connected to the right network. The WiFi shows up, but I can’t authenticate.
  • Clearing Browser Cache: I cleared my browser’s cache and cookies just in case that was causing issues.
  • Using Different Browsers: Tried both Chrome and Firefox just to make sure it wasn’t a browser-related issue.
  • Rebooting the Device: I rebooted my phone multiple times to see if there were any updates that I missed.

Issues Faced:

  • I often get an authentication error when entering my detail.
  • Sometimes the WiFi doesn’t even appear as an available option.
  • When I do connect, the webpage just won’t load.

Has anyone else faced similar issues? I’d love to hear if you found any troubleshooting tips that worked for you. I checked on other forums and some suggest contacting American Airlines, but I’d like to know if there are any other users here who have resolved similar problems.

I’m curious, can anyone confirm if the iOS version has similar issues? I’d hate to switch and find out it’s just as bad!

I actually have both! The iOS version seems smoother, but it might be biased since I prefer Apple. But Android really needs an update ASAP.

I’m having the same issue! I think it might be related to app permissions. Did you check if Aainflight has all the permissions it needs?

I did check, but even with all permissions enabled, it still lags. Is there a specific setting for background data I should adjust?

Yes, you need to make sure that background data for Aainflight is allowed. Go to your phone settings, select Apps, find Aainflight, and enable background data.

Don’t forget to check your data usage settings as well! Sometimes restricting background data can cause issues.
