I’m having a frustrating issue with my Android device where it just won’t download MMS messages. I’ve tried a few things but I’m at a loss. I figured I’d reach out here for some advice and maybe someone else has faced this problem before.

What I’ve Tried

Here’s a list of steps I’ve already attempted:

  1. Restarted my Phone: Seems simple, but sometimes it helps.
  2. Checked APN Settings: Made sure my Access Point Name settings are correct according to my carrier.
  3. Cleared Cache and Data: I went into the app settings for Messages and cleared cache and data.

I had this problem too! Try clearing the cache for Android Messages. Go to Settings > Apps > Android Messages, then tap on Storage and select Clear Cache. It worked for me!
